Meta-owned WhatsApp was recently hit with a global outrage, with users across the globe reporting problems accessing the messaging app,

This disruption, which began on early Monday, affected both personal and business accounts, making it impossible for millions of users to send messages or connect via WhatsApp Web.

Many users took to social media platforms, particularly X (formerly Twitter), to share their doubts and express their frustration. These included questions on whether they were the only one experiencing such difficulties.

“Am I the only one experiencing Whatsapp web problems or is it down globally?” an X user asked. Many others reaffirmed their similar experiences, revealing that it was a global difficulty that constrained their daily communication.
