Dior bags the gold medal as the leading international luxury brand to receive the highest number of unique mentions by Indian influencers on Instagram, according to a survey on HypeAuditor.
While other luxury brands like Gucci, Prada, Versace and Louis Vuitton were also in the Top Five, it’s clear that Dior takes the cake.
Using AI tools to calculate this, it’s been determined that in a six-month period between January and May, a total of 2,099 Indian influencers made 4,189 posts mentioning these five luxury brands. From these mentions, 1,431 mentions by 841 influencers focused on Dior, and included mega influencers like Anushka Sharma, Avneet Kaur, Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and others. The most liked post featuring Dior is a carousel by Anushka Sharma which garnered 4.2 million likes.
It’s clear that Dior is a fan-favorite among fashion influencers who enjoyed showcasing their glamorous daily outfits.
From the remaining four brands, Gucci secured second place with 1,126 mentions from 701 influencers, including mega-influencers like Alia Bhatt and Darshan Raval. Louis Vuitton, meanwhile, had the highest media value $30.36 million.
The 4,189 posts have astoundingly reached 554 million people, suggesting that global interest in fashion – and specifically Dior – is more pronounced than ever before.
