Diljit Dosanjh’s manager Sonali Singh makes history as the first Indian artist manager to win Global Manager of the Year.
Awarded by this prestigious honor by Billboard, it is a testament to her exceptional work at managing and elevating the popular Punjabi superstar and several other artists. In particular, she has been with Diljit Dosanjh every step of the way, from management to business, A&R to tour managing. The two of them made history this year with Dosanjh’s Dil-Luminati tour, which became the largest North American tour from a Punjabi artist. It opened and closed with stadium shows in Vancouver and Toronto, with the former becoming the biggest-ever Punjabi concert outside India,
Sonali Singh’s commitment to success and determination to dream big has resulted in her own international recognition.
Taking to social media, Sonali Singh thanked Billboard for the distinction: “I am truly grateful for this incredible recognition, beyond anything I could have imagined. It feels surreal to receive such a prestigious honor.”
