Pankaj Goel, the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of BharatPe, has resigned from his position, citing personal reasons. Goel, who joined the fintech company in July 2023, played a pivotal role in steering the company’s technological strategies during his tenure.
Prior to his appointment at BharatPe, Goel served as the Head of Payments Engineering at Razorpay, where he was instrumental in scaling the company’s Total Payment Volume (TPV) from $1 billion to $100 billion. His extensive experience in fintech and engineering leadership made him a significant addition to BharatPe’s leadership team.
Goel’s departure adds to a series of executive changes at BharatPe. Since the resignation of former CEO Suhail Sameer in January 2025, the company has seen several senior-level exits. Currently, Nalin Negi, the Chief Financial Officer, is serving as the interim CEO.
