RAS Luxury Skincare, a prominent Indian luxury beauty brand, has successfully raised $5 million (approximately Rs 43 crore) in a Series A funding round.

This strategic investment was spearheaded by Unilever Ventures, with participation from notable investors such as Amazon Smbhav Venture Fund, Sixth Sense Ventures, and several angel backers.

The funding will enable RAS to expand its operations and strengthen its market position. The company plans to channel the funds into multiple areas, including:

Founded in 2017 by Shubhika Jain, Suramya Jain, and Sangeeta Jain, RAS Luxury Skincare started as a direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand, offering premium skincare products and essential oils online. Over the years, it has carved out a niche in the luxury beauty segment, combining natural ingredients with modern formulations to cater to discerning customers.

The investment underscores the potential of India’s premium beauty sector. Pawan Chaturvedi, Head of Unilever Ventures Asia, emphasized the opportunities in this space, stating, “India’s premium beauty market is set for substantial growth over the next 5-7 years. With its unique offerings and strong positioning, RAS is well-equipped to capitalize on this upward trajectory.”
