“From the twisted minds that brought you Internal Affairs.’
Content creator and actress Prajakta Koli, aka MostlySane, returns to the theatre with her brand-new play ‘External Affairs’.
Here is a short synopsis of the play:
“Arjun is talented but unsuccessful. And he handles heartbreak badly. Insia is successful with questionable talent. And she keeps her heart out of every equation. When their paths cross, sparks fly. Convenience and loneliness lead them into a relationship. They`re cute and conventional, appropriate and woke. And a little boring. And then their exes re-enter their lives. Inappropriate and toxic, they`re exciting AF. Confusion and infidelity ensue.”
Described as “a comedy about confusion, fashionable anxiety, technology, transactional relationships, wokeness, and all the problems that plague the current generation”, External Affairs had a spectacular open night and was praised by its audience.
The play has been directed by Adhaar Khurana, written by Bobby Nagra, and produced by Akarsh Khurana & Saatvika Kantamneni. In addition to Prajakta Koli, it features prominent names such as Abhinav Sharma, Garima Yajnik and Taaruk Raina.
Following its launch, the main cast took to Instagram to share a moment of bliss. “We’re just getting started!” they wrote.
