24th January, 2024; Mumbai, India: The Advertising Club (TAC) India hosted the 24th edition of the ‘Effie India Awards 2024’ at Taj Lands’ End, Mumbai. With Platinum Guild International as the Category Sponsor for Positive Change – Social Good – Brands, Radio City as the Radio Partner, Diageo India as the Celebration Partner, and AMSTEL & Heineken Beer as the Beverage Sponsor, the event drew over 1,200 industry professionals from advertising, marketing, media, research, PR, and communication, solidifying its reputation as a calendar event for the industry.
Mondelez India Foods Pvt. Ltd. was adjudged as the Effie Client of the Year, while Ogilvy Group India was named Effie Agency of the Year. The coveted Grand Effie was awarded to Leo Burnett India for ACKO General Insurance’s campaign ‘ACKO: Health Insurance Ki Subah Ho Gayi Mamu’. The Effie India Awards hold a unique distinction, as the recognition stems not only from peers within the advertising industry but also from clients and academicians alike, celebrating creativity, strategy, and effectiveness from all perspectives. The awards garnered 1,152 entries from 75 agencies, reinforcing Effie India’s status as the second-largest Effie globally in terms of participation.
With 486 jury members, including 254 marketing professionals, spent their invaluable time and insights for the rigorous judging process spanned Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore, ensuring the highest standards of evaluation for this year’s campaigns.
