More than a musical act, Backstage Siblings has emerged as one of India’s most distinctive cultural movements, reimagining bhajans as immersive, participative experiences where people come together to sing, connect and feel
Created by sibling duo Prachi and Raghav Agarwal, Backstage Siblings was born from a deeply personal relationship with music. Having grown up attending satsangs with their father, bhajans were a natural part of their childhood and a lasting source of comfort and grounding. Years later, while navigating demanding corporate careers, they found themselves returning to music as a way to reconnect with what felt meaningful and real.
That personal need evolved into a larger vision: to create honest, substance-free spaces where people could disconnect from the noise of everyday life and experience collective singing as a form of connection. Today, Backstage Siblings is recognised as India’s biggest jamming duo and one of the defining forces behind the rise of bhajan jamming and bhajan clubbing. Blending bhajans, Bollywood, poetry and familiar melodies, their sessions are shaped in the moment, with no fixed setlist and with the belief that the audience itself is the main stage.
Over the past two years, Backstage Siblings have completed more than 250 live performances across 20+ cities in India, drawn audiences of nearly 10,000 people, and expanded internationally with shows in Dubai and Singapore. Their work has been recognised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Mann Ki Baat, and they have had the honour of performing for the Ambani family.
Continuing their journey across the country, their upcoming shows begin with Rajkot on May 16, 2026, with a special Bolly + Bhajan edition, followed by Ahmedabad on May 17. Then travels to Dehradun on May 23 and Dhanbad on May 24, and in Kolkata on May 30.
At a time when audiences are seeking experiences that feel authentic and emotionally resonant, Backstage Siblings are proving that bhajans can be both timeless and contemporary, transforming devotional music into a shared movement rooted in joy, belonging and togetherness.
