Amazon turns a wrestling match into a battle of recommendations in their new film

“This pyramid of entertaining recommendations are your ultimate watch-list!”

Prime Video has rolled out a new brand film, “Everyone’s Talking Amazon Prime”, that dramatizes the process of show recommendation among OTT watchers.

The film opens with a wrestling match between two opponents which transforms into a show recommendation showdown where every person in the hall leaps into the fray to promote their favorite thing to watch on Amazon Prime, with names ranging from Bawaal to Farzi to Ae Watan Mere Watan. With an appearance Pankaj Tripathi as the much-loved Kaleen Bhaiyaa from Mirzapur, the film highlights the popularity that Prime movies and TV shows enjoy among Indian consumers across all languages.

“Jo shows aur movies sabki zubaan par, woh sab Amazon Prime par’ and it’s your turn to join Kaleen Bhaiya and recommend your favorite titles!” Amazon wrote.

Addressing the perennial urban dilemmas of “Kya khayein?” (What to eat?), “Kya pehnein?” (What to wear?), and “Kya dekhein?” (What to watch?), Amazon Prime emerges as the definitive answer to the last question.

The ad has been conceptualized by MANJA with Nirvana as the production house and Prakash Varma as the director. It was supported by a 360-degree campaign on TV, digital, social media and outdoor with social innovations that bring its premise alive. This has ensured that it has reached a massive audience and received over 3.2 million views till date.
