She explained how impactful her own travelling journeys have been for broadening her horizons and changing perspective in life.

“Ever since I started travelling solo & then with friends, I’ve learnt tons of lessons – both simple and complex. From cultural understanding to forming connections, every single thing has taught me something that has improved my life and has allowed me to experience reality in a deeper sense.”

Thus, she aimed to share some of the biggest lessons she had learned across her travels.

University of Travel:

In Episode 1, Aakanksha highlighted the concept of “Truth” and how it is not an absolute concept but immensely subjective, shaped by people’s unique environments.

“Travelling has taught me that truth is not a singular, universal concept but a spectrum of perspectives. What is considered right or beautiful in one culture can be completely foreign to another,” she said. “It’s important to recognize that while our truths come from our background and beliefs, there’s no single “correct” truth. (MOSTLY). As travelers, our role is not to adopt or judge these different truths but to respect them.”

As a fun fact, Aakanksha added that this concept was so important to her that she got it tattooed on her arm.

As of right now, the ‘University of Travel’ series comprises of six episodes, each focusing on a different lesson that Aakanksha has learned over the years due to her travels.

This series has received great attention across Instagram, with many praising her initiative.

“The kind of content we want,” a user wrote.

“Beautifully explained,” another praised.

“What a great message. Travel for me is also about getting out of your comfort zone and changing perspectives,” another added in response to Episode 6.
