Inside India’s Health Reset: Noise Releases Its 2025 Year-End Wellness Report

18th December 2025: India’s wellness story in 2025 is no longer defined by fleeting fitness trends, but by a deeper, nationwide shift toward preventive and intentional living. With eight in ten Indians now treating wellness as a long-term investment and preventive healthcare growing at an 18% CAGR, the country is steadily adopting routines that integrate movement, mindfulness, sleep, and recovery. The growing adoption of yoga, mindfulness practices, and AI-powered personalisation reflects a conscious move away from burnout toward balance, as Indians increasingly seek to understand their bodies rather than push them blindly.

Against this backdrop, Noise has released its 2025 Year-End Wellness Report, offering a view of how India’s health habits evolved through the year. Among the key highlights, Indians showed strong early-day discipline with 21% more steps recorded in the morning, embraced intentional rest on weekends with a 40% drop in steps and calories, and demonstrated a strong preference for movement, with 90% opting for outdoor workouts, while Delhi users adapted to indoor activity due to air quality concerns. These insights point to a decisive shift away from appearance-driven fitness toward habit-led wellness, where consistency, recovery, and long-term health take precedence over short-term goals.

Reflecting on this evolution, Amit Khatri, Co-founder of Noise, said,

“Wearables have quietly become part of everyday life, and the use cases are widening in every corner of urban India. We are witnessing a wellness paradigm shift. From Bangalore’s power users to Pune’s balance-seekers to Hyderabad’s professionals integrating health with productivity, Consumer health habits in India point to a clear shift towards preventive healthcare through wearables. From prioritising rest over the weekend, to nearly 90% of users preferring outdoor movement, and millions actively tracking recovery, the focus is no longer on aesthetics alone. Instead, Indians are investing in long-term wellbeing and longevity – and that’s the India we see emerging”

India’s wellness evolution signals a broader cultural shift, one where movement, sleep, mental well-being, and recovery are becoming inseparable pillars of daily life. Observed through aggregated and anonymised wellness patterns on the NoiseFit app, these trends reflect how technology is deepening awareness and enabling sustained behaviour change. As 2025 comes to a close, this momentum carries into 2026, pointing towards a more informed, resilient, and longevity-focused India.
