Udaan’s Amod Malviya and Rishi Kedia Introduce New Venture, Pre6

Amod Malviya, one of the co-founders of Udaan, has joined forces with Rishi Kedia, CFO of Udaan Capital, to unveil their latest entrepreneurial venture, Pre6.

The announcement was made via LinkedIn, marking a new chapter for the duo. However, specific details about the startup remain under wraps for now.

Headquartered in Bengaluru, Pre6 is the latest addition to a growing wave of startups launched by seasoned founders and executives in the Indian entrepreneurial ecosystem. In 2022, Malviya, along with fellow Udaan co-founder Sujeet Kumar, stepped away from their active roles in the company, setting the stage for new pursuits like this one.

This trend of established leaders venturing into new domains continues to gain momentum. Just days ago, Mayank Kumar, co-founder of upGrad, and Ayush Mathur, former President of OYO Europe, launched BorderPlus, focusing on simplifying cross-border experiences.

The list of notable new startups doesn’t end there. DealShare’s co-founder Sourjyendu Medda recently ventured into sportstech with Sports For Life. Similarly, Binny Bansal, co-founder of Flipkart, introduced OppDoor, while Bella Vita founder Aakash Anand debuted Unikon. Other notable launches include Gabit by Zomato co-founder Gaurav Gupta, Callmatic by Shivank Agarwal of Mitron TV fame, and two initiatives, Lyskraft and Nurix AI, by Mukesh Bansal of Cult.fit.

The announcement of Pre6 has sparked curiosity within the startup community, and many are eagerly awaiting further details about its focus and vision. With Malviya and Kedia at the helm, Pre6 is expected to bring innovative solutions to the table, further enriching Bengaluru’s reputation as a thriving hub for innovation and entrepreneurship
