WhatsApp to win the privacy controversy with their latest campaign
The controversy of encryption over WhatsApp is finally being pushed down for the best. WhatsApp has released yet another campaign that talks about the dangers of unencrypted messages on any platform, thus marketing the security of Meta platforms.
The campaign received positive feedback and drove more users to download the app and actually prefer it over other messaging platforms.
An activation released in London also caught the attention of thousands, delivering the same message of risks of unencrypted messages.
Meta also looks after the safety of children “by reducing their exposure to threats such as blackmail, while also allowing businesses to share information securely”.
While the platform still faces some arguments over the same point of conversation, Meta has decided to keep moving forward, integrate newer policies and make the platform safer with each introduction.
