Escalator Branding deals with installing graphics on the escalator’s body to promote a logo or company. This provides imagery for the glass banisters as well as graphics on the front-facing panels of escalator stairs. When seen from the front, the steps sink and emerge as the escalator goes up or down, forming a coherent picture.
Escalators may be transformed into interactive, experiential outdoor advertising, in addition to banister advertisements.
Since the advertisement industry is becoming saturated, any chance to create something that hasn’t been achieved a million times before is seen as a desirable opportunity, making Escalator branding more of a “go-to” mode of outdoor advertising than ever before.
