Times OOH gets advertising rights for Goa International Airport, Dabolim

Times Innovative Media (Times OOH), India’s leading outdoor advertising company, has strengthened its presence in Goa by acquiring the advertising rights for Goa International Airport, Dabolim.

This contract, set to last for seven years, was awarded to Times OOH by the Airport Authority of India. It has granted Times OOH the rights to market advertising opportunities both inside and outside the airport premises. Renowned for its strategically placed, premium-quality media assets, the company plans to renovate the media sites of the airport to offer top-tier advertising solutions to its clients.

Goa International Airport, Dabolim, remains a leading destination for tourists travelling from within India and abroad. Furthermore, its proximity to the South Goa makes it a highly attractive choice for tourists.  For example, in the fiscal year 2022-2023, the airport handled around 7.89 million passengers. Now, it will feature an even more diverse range of advertising options, including a strategic mix of static, digital, and unique sponsorship opportunities.

This is the second occasion where Times OOH, which offers comprehensive media solutions across airports, metro and street furniture in India and Mauritius, secured an acquisition in the state. Formerly, it successfully secured media rights at Manohar International Airport, Goa, which received praise from passengers and advertisers alike for its design and media offerings. Additionally, Times OOH has existing media rights Mumbai Airport, Mumbai Metro One, Ahmedabad Digital Billboards and Manohar International Airport, Mopa. Thus, this newest acquisition has allowed the company to establish a strong and much-admired foothold in the western region by adding Dabolim Airport to its portfolio.

Shekhar Narayanaswami, President of Times OOH, emphasizes “With the acquisition of advertising rights at Goa International Airport, Dabolim we are establishing our exclusive presence in Goa. These media rights will enable us to make investments that meet international standards and provide delightful solutions to our clients. Goa is a preferred travel destination throughout the year. Now with media rights for both the airports we would be able to create memorable experiences for the traveller as well as provide a platform where advertisers can innovatively experiment and engage with their target audience’.
