Pizza Hut uses Emoji Avatars to Boost their “Pizzas for every mood” Campaign

Pizza Hut, India’s beloved pizza brand, has delighted viewers with their latest campaign.

Pizza Hut has launched a brand-new film for its “Pizzas for every mood” campaign. The film features two emoji avatars and embodies different moods of people in daily life situations. By doing so, it aims to showcase how Pizza Hut’s colorful range of 10 new pizzas offers them ample variety and opportunities to match every possible mood.

Their film opens with a heart-eyed and pink-clad emoji avatar, Seema, who chooses Mazedar Makhni Paneer pizza to celebrate her first anniversary. On the other hand, her partner Sameer, a crossed-out eyed and regularly-clothed emoji avatar, is overwhelmed with emotions and ends up selecting Dhabe Da Keema so that he can cheer himself up. At the end of the film, both emoji avatars are smiling joyfully as they savor their pizzas, flawlessly highlighting the message of the campaign: “Pizzas for every mood”. The use of emoji avatars rather than human figures is not only refreshing and amusing but also resonates more strongly with the campaign’s younger millennial and Gen Z audience, who will undoubtedly appreciate its tech savviness.

Pizza Hut’s new flavours like Makhni Paneer, Dhabe Da Keema, Cheezy Mushroom Magic, Mexican Fiesta, Awesome American Cheesy, and Nawabi Murg Makhni, among others, give ample options to people to satisfy their different food cravings depending on their different moods. To make it even more exciting for their customers, Pizza Hut has also rolled out a new value offer where izza lovers can relish 2 personal pizzas starting at Rs. 299, with 2 free Pepsi glasses at all 800+ Pizza Hut restaurants.

Pizza Hut’s new film was conceptualized and shot by Creativeland Asia Pvt. Ltd. It is part of their massive 360-degree marketing campaign aiming to connect with customers at every touchpoint and will be broadcasted across television and digital social media platforms, involving PR, influencer outreach, OOH and in-store branding. Additionally, their film will be promoted across TV, new-age social media platforms and OTT platforms. It will also be promoted in apps like Saavan, Spotify, Glance, Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Snapchat, Amazon, PhonePe, Uber and others.
