Ford India has appointed Kapil Sharma as the general manager – consumer marketing. Sharma is presently heading PR, communications and CSR for Ford India and will continue to fulfill his present responsibilities as head of communications.
In this expanded role, Sharma will be responsible for steering the Ford Brand and business forward with integrated marketing and communications efforts. He will report directly to Rahul Gautam – vice president, marketing and Anurag Mehrotra – president and managing director, Ford India along with IMG Comms leader, Sinead Phipps.
Sharma will take over his new role on 1st June 2021. He joined Ford India in September 2013 as manager, corporate communications. He has previously worked with BMW India as manager- press and corporate affairs and with Genesis Burson Marsteller as associate partner.
