Smita Murarka has joined British multinational professional services network Deloitte as Director.

She has had more than 2 decades of experience, and her latest stint was as the chief marketing officer (CMO) at the sleep solutions company Duroflex, which she joined in 2020. During her 3-year stint, she played a pivotal role in transforming the company from a regional offline business in a fractured industry to a national omni multi-channel brand. Her responsibilities were wide and encompassing, including managing a full-funnel marketing communication as well as implementing marketing communication tools for enhanced consumer engagement. Her achievements were even more remarkable: within just 2 years, she successfully achieved a 2.5X growth due to her rigorous digital-first approach.

Before Duroflex, Murarka , did brand consultancy work for D2C, spent more than 6 years at MAS Holdings as marketing head for amante lingerie, and worked with several other prominent brands like the Landmark Group and Lifestyle International.

Murarka is evidently an excellent fit for the role of Director at Deloitte. With her digital-first approach and experience with multi-tasking and spearheading action, she will undoubtedly contribute greatly to the progress and continual success of Deloitte in the future.
