New Delhi, 7th March 2026: This Women’s Day, boAt, India’s No. 1 audio and wearables brand, steers the conversation in a bold new direction with its latest campaign titled ‘Baddies on Road’. Turning a long standing stereotype on its head, the campaign challenges the outdated belief around women’s driving skills, showing confident women drivers taking charge on the road with the boAt HIVE Dashcam watching their back, subtly revealing a sharper truth: She’s not bad, but a baddie on the road, when she steps into her true power.
The campaign film opens with a woman confidently stepping into the driver’s seat as the engine roars to life. As she begins driving through the city, familiar stereotypes start appearing around her. From social media comments like “Ladki chala rahi hai, pakka thokegi”, to billboards claiming, “Women can’t parallel park,” and roadside remarks such as “Chaabi de de, tu nahi nikal paegi,” the narrative mirrors the everyday judgement women often face on the road. Even the road beneath her echoes the bias with the words “She can’t drive”. But as the film unfolds through dynamic driving shots captured from the boAt HIVE Dashcam perspective, the message takes a powerful turn: She’s not bad on the road, She’s a baddie on the road.
Blending wit with a strong social message, the campaign aims to steer the conversation away from outdated beliefs that women are poor drivers. Instead, it highlights how perceptions can be shaped by stereotypes, and how technology like dashcams helps facts speak louder than assumptions.
“Women drivers have long been judged through outdated stereotypes. With ‘Baddies on Road’, we wanted to flip that narrative and celebrate the confidence women bring to the road every day. Through the boAt HIVE Dashcam, we are letting the truth on the road speak for itself.” – boAt Spokesperson, said.
With features such as onboard microSD storage, smartphone app connectivity, optional cloud integration, and intelligent parking surveillance powered by motion detection and G-sensor triggers, the boAt HIVE Dashcam ensures protection and peace of mind, even when the vehicle is unattended.
Through this Women’s Day initiative, boAt hopes to encourage a more balanced and progressive perspective on the road – one that recognizes skill and confidence rather than outdated stereotypes.
The newly launched boAt HIVE Dashcam F1, M1 and E1 are now available on boat-lifestyle.com, Amazon, Flipkart and select retail stores across India at special promotion prices of ₹9,990, ₹4,499 and ₹2,499 respectively.
