Burger King is Back With a Clever Burger Exchange Campaign
The three horizontal stripes menu button which is often placed on the top right corner of a graphical UI is called the Hamburger button in many countries due to its unintentional resemblance to the popular snack. During the quarantine, most people preferred cooking at home over ordering from outside as a precaution against the rampant virus. Now as things are slowly resuming, Burger King came up with yet another genius campaign called ‘Burger Exchange’ to kick things off once again with a bang.
The campaign was created by the agency Wolf BCPP in Chile. Since the Hamburger button is probably the only Burger people have had the opportunity to see since the lockdowns, Burger King Chile offered to exchange a Whopper for a screenshot of the Hamburger button sent to them through Direct Message on Instagram. This campaign cleverly uses social media to create an experience for people which will offer brand recall in the future.
