This campaign was more than just a blend of influencer marketing and traditional advertising; it was a big professional win and a life goal for many!! In this day and age, where success is often measured by likes, views, and follows, a billboard represents a tangible, larger-than-life recognition of their hard work and influence. It’s a moment that signifies they’ve made it as an artist – becoming a part of the city’s landscape, where thousands of their fans can see their face on a 40×40 billboard for 4 days. This innovative IP by Freakins is part of a growing trend in Indian influencer marketing, where live billboard campaigns are becoming a key strategy for enhancing brand visibility and engagement.
We carefully selected creators from diverse backgrounds to represent each brand, ensuring that every face on the billboard resonated with the brand’s objective for this campaign. A highlight of the campaign was the Garnier initiative, where creators were involved in a paid campaign to color their hair red, making a bold statement that reflected the brand’s vibrant identity.
Throughout the three-month campaign, these creators were prominently featured on billboards across various locations in Mumbai. As they shared their billboard moments on Instagram, the campaign extended its reach far beyond the physical spaces. The ripple effect on social media was immediate, with each creator’s audience celebrating their success and, in turn, driving attention back to the brands. Prominent examples of this campaign’s success include notable creators such as Neel Salekar, Divya Gupta, Devika Khade, and Vitasta Bhatt, among many others.
