India, September 12, 2025: General Instruments Consortium (GIC), one of India’s largest manufacturers of engineering instruments, has been conferred the 56th EEPC India National Award 2025 in recognition of its outstanding export performance in the engineering sector. The award was presented during EEPC India’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, graced by the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu.
In FY 2024–25, GIC’s export performance stood out with 55% growth, contributing nearly half of its total revenue. Over the past three years, the company has achieved an impressive 40% CAGR in exports, fuelled by strong demand across oil & gas, petrochemicals, and power sectors.
With state-of-the-art manufacturing plants in Navi Mumbai and Goa, GIC serves over 3,000 customers in 60+ countries, including Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Russia, and Australia. It is also actively expanding into the USA and emerging sectors such as renewables, hydrogen economy, and process automation.
