Jo Lindner, a German YouTuber, bodybuilder and fitness influencer, also known as “Joesthetics”, died on Monday, 21st July, at the age of 30.
Lindner’s girlfriend, Nicha, was the one to put out an Instagram message about Lindner’s untimely and unexpected departure. She also verified the news on Saturday, saying. “Jo is in the best place everyone,” her post read, elaborating that he died due to an aneurysm, caused by the bulging of an artery. This was after he had gifted her with a custom-made necklace with her name inscribed on it. “We was just lay down cuddle..waiting the time to go meet Noel at the gym at 16.00 ..he was in my arms.. than this is just happening too fast.. 3 days ago he kept said that he pain his neck .. we not really realize it… until it too late.”
“Please remember him as Joesthetics,” the post concluded.
This social media sensation had over 940k followers on YouTube and 8.7 million followers on Instagram. His death has struck the community hard, and several famous personalities have come forward to express their grief and condolences. Dwayne Johnson, aka the Rock, wrote “I always enjoyed watching his vids,” hailing him as being “so positive and passionate about bodybuilding and sharing his message”, and ending his note with a “RIP Jo”.
Lindner’s training partner, Noel Deyzel, shared a heartfelt post about his friend, sharing a joyful picture of the two of them flexing their physiques. A second picture revealed an emotional, heartbreaking message he had written for him. “I still keep checking my phone waiting for your reply so we can meet at the gym.” he wrote.
