NEW DELHI, March 20, 2026 – The National Basketball Association (NBA) and Budweiser India today announced the return of BUDX NBA House to India following its debut in Mumbai last year.  The interactive fan experience will celebrate the convergence of basketball, music and culture on Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10 at Bharat Mandapam, Exhibition Hall No. 6, in New Delhi in conjunction with the 2026 NBA Playoffs.

This year’s event will feature an expanded range of immersive experiences for fans ages 16+, including on-court basketball activities; live performances by international and Indian musical artists; meet-and-greets with two-time NBA champion and Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame member Isiah Thomas and four-time NBA All-Star DeMarcus Cousins; BUDX Masterclasses – expert-led workshops and panel discussions curated by Budweiser to educate and engage emerging artists, DJs and fans –; a 3-on-3 celebrity game; streetwear showcases; photo opportunities with the Larry O’Brien Trophy; and performances by Sacramento Kings mascot Slamson, the Kings Dancers and the Kings dunk team.  The Kings played in the first NBA games in India in 2019 and are participating in BUDX NBA House for the second consecutive year.

“Hosting BUDX NBA House in New Delhi for the first time marks an exciting next step in our continued efforts to engage fans across India in new and creative ways,” said NBA India Country Head Rajah Chaudhry.  “The response in Mumbai last year showcased the incredible passion for basketball in the country, and experiences like this are our way of celebrating that community in a meaningful way.  We look forward to returning with an expanded edition where fans can come together to celebrate the excitement of the NBA Playoffs, meet legends of the game, and experience the music and fashion that define NBA culture in India.”

“After witnessing the phenomenal response to the first-ever BUDX NBA House in Mumbai, we’re excited to bring an elevated and more immersive edition to fans in New Delhi,” said Vineet Sharma, Vice President, Marketing & Trade Marketing, AB InBev India.  “As India’s No.1 premium beer brand, we have always been at the forefront of culture, shaping conversations across music, sport, and entertainment for young audiences.  Together with the NBA, this year’s showcase builds further on that momentum by offering fans an expanded cultural experience – one that blends the thrill of basketball with the music, culture and creative energy that defines today’s generation.  As part of our ‘In the Hands of Fans’ narrative, we are deepening our commitment to building fan-first ecosystems that strengthen the connection between people and the sports they love.  At its core, the belief is simple: sport belongs to its fans.  Through platforms like BUDX NBA House, we’re translating that belief into a scalable strategy – one that puts fans at the center of the energy, creativity and culture surrounding the game.”

Last year, BUDX NBA House in Mumbai welcomed more than six thousand fans over two days.  The league has also held NBA House events in Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Mexico, the U.S. and the UK, and this year will host the first NBA House in Australia (May 14-17).

BUDX NBA House will be produced, promoted and ticketed by District by Zomato.  Tickets are available at https://link.district.in/DSTRKT/BUDXNBAPRDel.  Additional information about partners and programming will be announced in the coming weeks.
