Apparel Manufacturers of India (AMI) kicks off ADVAIT 7.0 today in Chennai

This edition of the trade fair will focus on putting the Indian apparel market on the global map

The Mega Zonal Fair will be a 3-day event at RK Convention Centre, ECR, Chennai

Chennai, 02nd February, 2026: Apparel Manufacturers of India, one of India’s prominent and renowned apparel groups of manufacturers and traders, kicks off ADVAIT 7.0 today in Chennai. The trade fair will take place from Monday, 2nd February, to Wednesday, 4th February, at RK Convention Centre, ECR, Chennai.

Apparel Manufacturers of India (AMI) continues to grow and build this property by bridging the gap between manufacturers, retailers, and MBO’s. Over the last few years, the trade fair has seen the presence of global retailers from countries like Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Mauritius, and Dubai, highlighting how global retailers are seeing a great market opportunity in India.

Advait – the flagship platform of AMI, has been organising this zonal trade fair for more than 10 years – targeting small MBOs, retailers, LFS, and Chain Stores, from metros as well as Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities from across Southern India and Goa. ADVAIT acts as a confluence where brands across India are getting the right market opportunity to showcase, and buyers are getting filtered and verified manufacturers to buy from.

ADVAIT brings in fresh opportunities every edition for brands to showcase their upcoming collections, festive collections, latest designs, and also provides new brands an entry to an established network of manufacturers, retailers, and MBOs. This year’s trade fair has an assortment of established home-grown brands, from Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Indore, Surat and Jaipur.

Dharmesh Nandu, Founder of Apparel Manufacturers of India (AMI), said, “As we continue to scale ADVAIT every year, this year too, we are excited to be in Chennai. Chennai has shown us lots of love and respect, bringing us back every year. Today, with global markets showing high interest in the Indian apparel industry, we want to build ADVAIT at a global scale, where foreign delegates can come and witness the growth India has made. The apparel market has changed a lot in the past few years, with online shopping growing. We want to strengthen the offline retail space, to keep a balance and provide support to industry players.”

The trade fair will be spread over the entire venue, which is around 1 lac sq ft, to provide a comfortable and generous space to the exhibitors.
