Will Instagrams latest tested Reshare feature be welcomed?
Instagram is an ever-prevailing social media platform that is constantly evolving into a better version of itself. Reportedly, Instagram was coming up with yet another introduction of a direct reshare feature that is said to have a separate tab on ones profile.
Confirming the speculation, a Meta spokesperson commented on this development saying, “We’re exploring the ability to reshare posts in Feed, similar to how you can reshare in Stories, so people can share what resonates with them, and so original creators are credited for their work. We plan to test this soon with a small number of people”.
Resharing posts on Instagram is not a new concept. For years, users have done so through a third-party app, Regram, that delivered the purpose. However, the concept of resharing has seen a fall ever since the introduction of reels.
The long-avoided reshare feature within the app has finally been introduced and released only for beta testing. However, we’re yet to see the extent to which it will be welcomed by the users.
