Rooted in the grandeur of Indian heritage, the collection draws inspiration from the opulence of royal India and traditional craftsmanship. The ensembles reinterpret the intricate beauty of jadau jewellery through embroidery, with ornate motifs reminiscent of heirloom jewels delicately hand-embroidered across rich textiles. The showcase opened with Pratibha Ranta walking the runway in ITRH, while Ibrahim Ali Khan closed the show.
The collection also explores ITRH’s signature narrative approach to textiles. From the richness of Jamavars to the vibrant rhythm of Bandhanis, the garments celebrate Indian craftsmanship while presenting it through sculptural silhouettes and contemporary design details.
“At ITRH, our journey has always been about reimagining tradition through a modern lens. With Sheesh Pushida Jaal, we wanted to capture the grandeur and theatrical beauty of Indian craftsmanship – thousands of mirrors intricately coming together to create a living tapestry of light and reflection,” says Mohit Rai, Co-Founder & Designer, ITRH.
“Every collection we present introduces a new textile story while staying true to the signatures that define ITRH. From the narrative richness of Jamavars, to the vibrant rhythm of Bandhanis, to the inspiration of jadau jewellery translated into bejewelled blouses – each element celebrates the depth of our heritage.”
Speaking about presenting the collection at the CPAA show, Ridhi Bansal, Co-Founder & Designer, ITRH, adds, “ITRH has always been about taking the soul of Indian craft and giving it a voice that feels powerful, modern, and fearless. Our work is rooted in honouring the brilliance of Indian artisans while constantly pushing the boundaries of design.”
“Presenting this collection at the CPAA show holds special significance for us, as it brings together fashion and a meaningful cause. It reminds us that creativity can be a force for impact, awareness, and hope.”
